Named Accountable GP
All Patients registered at this surgery now have a named accountable GP who is responsible for patient's overall care at the practice. You may contact the surgery if you wish to know who this is and if you have a preference as to which GP, the surgery will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
We currently provide clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma, copd, diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, stop smoking service, sexual health, phlebotomy, anticoagulation clinics, childhood vaccinations and NHS Health checks.
For immediate medical advice you can be seen in our Un-booked Emergency Surgery daily from Monday to Friday from 9.00am til 11:30am.
Appointments for all other surgeries are pre-bookable, up to four weeks in advance for Nurses and Doctors.

We have updated our computer system to Systmone.
On-line patients have access for ordering repeat prescriptions, booking appointments and viewing part of their medical records, accessed via the new link (above).
Systmonline has excellent help pages - should you ever have problems.
If you find you need a new log-on please ask at reception.
Thank you for your patience
GP Net Earnings
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g.average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working in Brickfields Surgery in the last financial year 2017 -2018 was £51,816.00 before Tax and National Insurance.
This is for 4 part time GPs and 2 Locum GP who worked in the practice for more than six months.
Please note that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor make comparison with any other GP practice.
Patient Online - SystmOnline can now offer you a summary view of your medical record online. If you wish to sign up to this you will need to come into the surgery and fill in a registration form (proof of photo ID is required). If you send a representative we will need your written consent(proxy registration form completed). A username and password will be issued to you and this will give you access to your repeat medication list, the ability to book appointments and a summary of your medical records.
If you are an existing user of Systmonline and wish to add the facility of viewing a summary of your medical record, you will also be required to fill in a registration form.
